Looking to buy daily driver - 993 vs. 996?

The other view point to consider is that the 993 will be/is a classic where the 996 will not be considered as such (in my opinion of course). I would rather mile up the latter. That said, I'm not going to hesitate to put miles on my new 993 although it will not be a DD. Perhaps I don't have a point here.

LOL...no need to take it personally or be so sensitive Ray. For someone that owns a 996 AND a Boxster, you should have grown thicker skin by now.

True. I should have taken into consideration your experience driving luxury sedans. After all they weigh about the same as a 993 cab, right....

It sounds like a struck a raw nerve in you. Sorry, didn't mean to. But if you feel so insecure, please don't come here and start controversy.

Ahem.. actually I rode alongside a 996 aero convert with top down (mine u it was 20 but then again he had FL plates), and must admit that's a nice looking car - looked like a 2002+.

Ray, cabrio is just being a clown. There's no harm. You won't change our minds and we won't change your mind. It's all in good fun. Like what you like and don't give a damn about what we think.
