Chuck, I live 2 miles from Kennedy School. It is part of a local brewpub chain, called McMenamins. See you there! Great brews and food. Would like to check out Steve also.
BTW, Laurelwood Brewpub is the best, also nearby.
I'll PM more info.
Jody

BTW, I am from Hermosa Beach originally. Been in PDX 12 yrs.

Well hell, so do the men. Don't let the name fool you; last I checked I was still 100% male.

mckminemans (sp?)
this is the chain of houses converted to restaurants / breweries?

what a fine concept.

have any of you visited Hood River OR?
they have a combination brewery / movie theatre / pizza parlor there.
you buy a ticket, order a pizza, quaff a malted beverage and sit in an armchair ((or a couch or a "normal chair") while watching the movie.

if Gran Prix ever shows there. count me in!!!!

be safe

Craig

Hood River has great pubs. The Kennedy School that was mentioned also has a theater as you described and there are others...very cool!
McMenamins takes historical buildings, hotels or taverns and turns them into brewpubs and B&B's.
This school was an elementary school from 1917-1972 in the middle of a thriving old neighborhood.

Didn't mean to offend you in any way. I like Ruby's also. It has a nice hint of rasberry. But every woman I take there orders one. I personally enjoy the Terminator.
