Default Becker CDR220 and ipod connector

Was going to order the revised faceplate today from Becker and also wanted to get the ipod connector from David Navone(sp) but it looks like his website is down or gone. Anyone know of a supplier for this cable, Becker quoted $150 for it!

Thanks for any help!

That is odd, I was just looking at David's website yesterday and it was up. I would wait and try again later in the day, or tomrrow.

I got one off of ebay before I got David's. The one from ebay didn't work, so I returned it and had to pay a restocking fee, yadda yadda.

David Navone's cable is A+!

Cable connects from the bottom of the Ipod to power and RCA inputs, so it charges the iPod and allows you to play ipod into Aux input.

Just like this one

I've been doing a lot of research on this one, the Denison Icelink Plus is suppose to work & let you use the CDC controls for the HU, but you can't get them in the US anymore.

That one states for Blaupunkt/Porsche, wonder if it will fit the Becker?

the Navone Engineering one uses RCA plugs to connect to the Aux input, so you need the Becker cable that plugs in to the back of the CDR-220 and converts to RCA plugs. I think it was $15 from Becker.

It's the same plug, you just plug it into the back of the 220.

Hey, that would be great. So do I need both the Becker $15 piece and the discountcarstereo adapter or just the latter?

No, just this cable, & attach it to the radio. But it only charges/plays.

That's all I needed. This is great! Thanks all!

update: Went to the link above and now the adapter is no longer available. A little searching found an updated one at this link: http://www.discountcarstereo.com/detail.aspx?ID=1010

Similiar price but shipping and handling is another $15! Geez.
Oh well. Ordered it.

Thanks Roger, this is what I needed as well. Shipping/handling was down to $10 or $11.

The one that I bought that also plays and charges from David Navonne's site. I've not installed it yet but I think that Kika has done so.

Product ID: N-IPOD-RCA-Plus
Price: $24.95
