Just looking at projects from back when these cars weren’t so stupid expensive that most people are afraid to truly change anything. Rhino hasn’t posted since 2016, sad to see most from this era no longer active. Can’t help but wonder where this and other beauties have ended up... hopefully haven’t followed Rufus. Man, a lot of time can be wasted going down these worm holes, 3.5 hours ago I started a ‘quick’ refresher search on my upcoming SAI project.

This is the thread that inspired me to completely change my own interior in 2016 (see links in sig). Love @Rhino's original vision. Unfortunately time marches on! Since I did my own interior, Paul Champange has retired! :-(

Square weave carpet?
Man,,, the choice of old school Square Weave Carpeting really captures the 993s interior details; Ala the 993 specific door cards, etc. .. Mite you have the source/brand of the square weave carpet? .. Inspiration to replace the 993s cheezy trunk textile/carpet liner comes to mind. .. As before, your project outcome is Tier One. .. Thanks for the interior pictorial.

You can get squareweave carpet made into a 993 pattern by Classic 9 (at least when Rob Budd was running Classic 9) --- I don't know about now. http://www.classic9leathershop.com/c...t-by-the-yard/
Just FYI, I bet square weave takes a LOT of skill to put down on a 993 for it to conform to all the compound curves of the floorpan. I originally wanted to try squareweave, but then used silverknit instead as the stretchability of silverknit made it easier for an amateur like myself to put down.

Lakewell will sell you a 993 carpet kit in square weave with the trim color of your choice. Last I checked it was right around 1k with old conversion rates. It's on my list to do as the winter project this year. Looks amazing.
