GT2 front spoiler arrived... with pix
Following the thread https://rennlist.com/forums/993-forum/393435-has-anyone-bought-this-gt2-front-spoiler-on-ebay.html started by Mark in Baltimore a few weeks back I ordered the spoiler and it arrived today.
It arrived in great shape and, especially for the money, it looks well finished and pretty sturdy for fibreglass.
It's going to have to sit in the box for a couple of months before I get the time to install it because I have just bought another house and am starting a remodel. Bad timing I guess but at least I have something to look forward to in the spring.

I really like the GT2/RSCS front spoiler, but I think the GT2 rear wing is too big, especially on a NB. Are you going with a RSCS wing to balance out the back ?

How "flexible" are the pieces? My only concern with the FG is that it will shatter the first time it hits or scrapes something...I think MASHAW is starting to use polyurethane for that reason...but my knowledge on that subject just hit its limit....

Nice. Where did you source? Just swapped some PM's with Mark discussing the same front-end. I need more bite and am contemplating doing a GT2 front and RS 3.8 rear.

Yup, they're real. But they're not OEM. They're MA Shaw.
I don't think MA Shaw ever uses polyurethane, am I wrong? My MA Shaw splitters are FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) which is just a fancy way of saying Fiberglass. They don't have the flexibility of plastic, but that hasn't shown to be a big problem for splitters AFAIK.

Well, it's as flexible as FG is I guess but feels like it has a little give. ava6603 has a similar spoiler on a car he tracks and says "it gets pretty beat up". I don't track mine and try not to off-road it either so I'm hoping it will stand up to street use.

They're not. I bought one out of Germany, waited 3 months and the first time I went to the track, I cracked it I'd buy this one now that I see it has the mounting tabs. Its a steal at $250!

Let us know how they work out, Steve. My plan is to go with RS splitters since I think the GT2 spoiler, when combined with my 3.8 RS spoiler (not wing section), will provide too much downforce and, consequently, add too much high speed oversteer, which I am trying to avoid.
