GT2 front spoiler arrived... with pix

I had that GT2/RSCS splitter on my car for a little while and ended up hating it. My car sits pretty low and on the street if you so much as see a small dead rodent you better try to avoid it. I ended up breaking the middle of the splitter two separate times. First time I had it fixed. Second time I took the whole setup off the car, sold it for cheap and went with the turbo look. Much more street friendly IMO.

^^^^^ NICE Avitar ^^^^^ Those are the girls I always looked for when I was single
I too just got those same splitters from EBay Hong Kong. I thought it was interesting that they came US Mail.
I'm getting them installed next week w/ GT2 Wing. I'll let you know how they do as far as fitment. Even though they are from Hong Kong I'll be using lead free paint.

Will Gert's Front Protection Bar serve any purpose if you have the GT2 splitter. It seams that the front lip of the splitter would sit below the protection bar, and the bar would thus not offer any protection. Anyone know how low the bar sits in comparison to the bottom of the GT2 splitter?

Will you put a rear wing on the back? It might look funny without at least an RS spoiler. Also, if you use your 993 on the track, having only the GT2 spoiler up front will exacerbate oversteer in high speed turns due to the aerodynamic imbalance.

OK they Fit. I had my EBay Splitters from Hong Kong put on. I wanted the body shop to fabricate a bracket to reinforce the 3 piece set-up. The body guy actually filled the piece with resin and adhesive and fiber glassed the pieces together into one. He claims it will be very difficult to break these and it is stronger than using a bracket.

Melman911, don't do it. You have the best looking front end for the 993 that there is. I had the GT2 front spoiler on my 993 and I can tell you it is accident waiting to happen. Just a tap to a curb and it's toast. It's a unique look, but a flimsy set-up. You are probably bored with the same look you have had for awhile, but at least what you have is solid. Stick with it.
