Steve @ Rennsport
I was told "not" to set my Pss9's on full soft.I was told if I did this the spring would be doing all the work ,not the shock.Any truth to this?
Thanks

I think 8 is the best "soft" setting for the PSS-9 as setting on 9 allows too little rebound damping and you end up "pogo-ing".

I feel some bumps on the rough roads in the city but the car is a blast out in the country and on the track.

You need to try out some cars equiped the way you want.

Even the worn out stock stuff is OK at city speeds and is not rough. The car gets real loosy-goosy in high speed corners with a worn out stock shocks. Down right scary! I didn't notice that they were worn out on the street but it was real clear at the track.

Cheers!

If Steve said it, I'm generally inclined to believe it, and you should, too. Based on my experiences with the PSS-9's set on 9 and the subsequent porpoising, I'd have to agree that the shocks are a bit underdamped for the spring rate at that setting.

I think that was a question for Steve, not advice from him. At least that's how I read it.

LOL,..I'd concur,.....PSS-9's at #9 are underdamped and will result in some excessive body motions.

I use #8 for best ride quality.
