Yea same here, this might be stupid but I don't have a bank account, I really don't like banks. No offence to bankers lol. But I was born in Russia, and from personal experience i've learned it's better to stay away from them.

Ahhh...to be young again!

I remember when I had no bank account, and no responsabilities, living day to day...

But you probably didn't have a 993 then!

Portugal993, you don't need a bank account, just a credit card (or debit, possibly).

A personal check worked for my membership.

3 years ago I bought my first P and a friend told me about this site. The wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm I read on the board helped me to understand, appreciate and enjoy what is a very special car so so much more. It also opened my mind to all the different paths one can take and after 2 years with the influence of the posts of a number of members I decided I wanted to go minimalist and sold my Targa and bought a C2 which I am now torturing and turning into my near dream ride (near in that I have run out of funds). I have learnt things here which my mechanic who specialises in 964s and 993s was unaware of. And I have received a lot of very useful help when I reached out for it from people who could not gain in any way.

This board is a wonderful example of what the Internet can do; bring you into contact with a whole bunch of people you would otherwise never know with a passion and hands-on specialist knowledge that is unavailalbe anywhere else. For me, the least I can do is pay the low annual membership fee to help pay for some of the expenses to host this site, and where I can offer my help to others on the board.

All the best,
