Yo yo all....got back from my party at 1 a.m....washed my car...I'm an idiot...neighbors looked at me awfully funny as the drove by, but I'm known as a carnut...they'll understand.

See you in a few hours.....and btw...every star in the sky is visible...clear as can be out.

I never rsvp'ed (was slated to go to a late Halloween party but I ended up skipping it). I think I might join. Just have to wake up my gf.

So Equ (+1) in a Cayman S. No worries if reservations are all booked, I'll just join the drive. Funnily enough I drove in front of Hickory last week - a local was recommending it.

Yes, I'm pretty last minute.

Last to rsvp & first to post...

Thanks to the organizers for a great run, Cara & I stepped away from New Paltz on. It was fun being part of the lead group - thanks to Chuck A. for setting a great pace.

After the Brauhaus, when New Paltz traffic broke us all up, I made a southbound move to 87 to head home...

...I think one of the last clusters in the pack "on the way to lunch" followed me off the 87 South New York City offramp instead

Man it's a long stretch between exits down there! Some beautiful cars there today!

Good seeing y'all...

I think we had a successful fun day, I clocked 260 miles today and enjoyed every minute of it.
Thanks to all that came out today! The power of Rennlist.com and the Internet is amazing.

It was great meeting some new faces and taking such a fantastic drive. Arrwin and Bob, great job planning the route. Some beautiful territory up there. We're saving those directions for future family outings!

Lucky for me, I didn't get a ticket from the officer who kept me behind at the first pit stop, even though he held me up quite a bit. I guess since I was honest about what happened, and had a clean license, he took pity on me. Whew! New rule: pass at 100, not 145.

Anyway, after catching up with the rest of you, we stayed for the duration of the drive, had lots of fun playing with the group we traveled with. We opted to bow out of lunch at the last minute, so we're sorry if we missed a chance to meet anyone, but Leslie, the kids and I had a blast. For that, thanks for letting an 'ol 928 join in!

Wow, Kevin, that sounds like a close call. Glad to hear it ended OK.

Great day. The mass of P-cars and sass of the engines always puts a smile on my face.

Thanks Bob and Arrwin for organizing. Boy, I'm happy people up front knew where to go. I especially liked when we infiltrated that gas station blocking access to all others, as well as the short stop on the side of the road right in front of that lake.

All in all...a fantastic outing, and by far the largest turnout I can remember. I'm thinking 60 cars all together? Most breeds there too....some damn nice cars out today.

all you that took some pix...gettem up here!

Best,
J
p.s. I met riad!! Seems like I wasn't the only one wearing a hang over. He's like a celeb. here. LOL
