Default 993 Exhaust tips......

Ok guys, my 993 has tips that look like crap to put it bluntly. I was going to do a search but I decided just to start a thread instead since I am bored I have seen 2 different sets available on ebay. One is on ebay item number 290157014202 and the other is by Maxspeed and they are item number 320154043070

I saw someone on there that had a little larger tips that looked great. Does anyone know where those are available from? Thanks for the help.

I just looked under the car and saw how easy they are to install. I just want to make sure that they are a bit larger than the stock ones.

I bought the same tips as 993-pilot, a little rough on the outer lip on the polishing in a couple spots, very very minor, but you cant beat the price,
Joshmaan@alliancelink.com is his email if you miss the auction..... no affiliation.

I think they are virtually identical to the factory big ovals

Mufflers can be Gillet or Bischoff ...I believe this may make a difference in mounting new tips. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong on this (what do I know, I've got stock ones that I had chromed ...6 years ago ).

The tips are bigger than stock, and will work with either Gillet or Bischoff mufflers. The only difference is whether the doughnut is built in (to the muffler outlet) or not. Very easy to install.

I can polish them for you! What year is your car? Alternatively, I have a set of 95' Bischoff's ready to go. You can have them for 45 bucks.

I got these from the same guy on e-bay:

They were new with rolled edges. Fit perfectly
Here is a picture of them installed:

Those look great but I think I want the ones w/o the rolled edges and a bit larger. I had a set of Champion ones on my old 996 (The only thing that I liked about the car) that looked awesome.

I think they are on Ebay! About 140 bucks or so for the pair.
