When is someone going to fabricate wide ovals for C4S widebodies! I can't bring myself to pay $600 for OEM.

Good luck. I think they tried to get widebody tips included in the previous group buy, but never got a response or commitment from him. I suspect that he doesn't have the capability/ability/interest to consistently produce the offset required for the widebody tips. Maybe you will have better luck this time.

Marlon, what the best way to maintain the luster after polishing? I'm thinking
of sending my tips down to you over the winter. Motor sound tips are just
chrome plated standard style tips and they are big $! With your polishing
technique my own tips will look great and I'll save!

Bumping an ooooold thread here.... but does anyone know if there's a current source for the non rolled edged tips posted above? Would rather not pay OEM/Fabspeed pricing...

corvettedude's account has been closed. There is this seller:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-911...IAAOSw4CFY1E4A

But of course the ad is for the rolled edge variant. Messaged the guy, awaiting response.

I've got the double walled FVD tips and love them. Great quality and value.

Hmm, oh well looks like I may have to go with rolled edge/double walled then. Unless someone pops up with a source for single walled.

Thanks.

Default 993 Exhaust tips......

I have a Mille Miglia exhaust on my widebody 993, the tips have single non rolled edges. The tips are 4" diameter and with the angle cut they look like 4.5" X 4.0" ovals.

Recycling this as I am looking for alternative tips for a 95' 993 C2. Stock came with Bischoff mufflers and tips, which are rather small and oval. Looks like Gillet tips won't fit on the Bischoff muffler, are there any alternatives other than going extremely large oval like the ones above?

The tips all have a flange. Depending on your muffler you may need the "donut" which will allow you install the tip to the muffler.
