I can't remember. I think I just tied them all off. I think I sold that spade-looking sensor with the heater assembly.

For some cars, you need to fool the CCU to think the fan is there. In my 993, there's a safety bypass resistor that you need to keep; plus I put a big power resistor to simulate the fan. Here's a link to how to do it.

Thanks for the link Don.

It was my understanding that the RS shift rod could be reproduced by substituting a stack of washers in place of the rubber bushings in the stock rod. This is what I plan to do.

Wow, $188 for a heater bypass tube!!!!...it's certainly not cheap buying all these RS parts

WHat's the difference between having a tube or using the fabspeed alternative other than saving about $100?

The fabspeed block-off piece will cause hot air to recirculate in the engine compartment, creating basically a convection oven? With the 964RS bypass tube the air is ejected underneath the 993 or with a 964, to the sides.
