Hey are you Dr. Ha Fahrer, from the Steve Martin flick, The Man with Two Brains? Only appropriate that you would know the correct pronunciation, Dr. Ha Fahrerrrrerrreerrrararar. (sorry, I'm a weirdo Steve Martin fan, couldn't resist...just too funny a coincidence....)

I love the quote by Ferry Porsche...ironic and, in retrospect, quite funny!

porscha sounds very classy. I change it up depending on who I am talking to.
My 5yr old neice, says "porschA".

No offence, but ever hear a french guy say "porscha" with the accent. It just wouldnt sound right.

Besides, poorsh is just a lazy way.....every silable counts.
Beemer= motorcycle
Bimmer= car

While maybe incorrect to say "porsh-ah" rather than "porsh-eh", I like to tell those who just mispronounce it "poorsh"

"You can't take the "ahh" out of Porsche. It's porsh-ahh..." Usually gets a smile from them.

I think if someone asks me what kind of Porsh I have, I'll have to tell them that its a Carrer Targ.

Maybe all those years of Wheel of Fortune have taught Americans that vowels are expensive and they may get charged for excessive use.
