Back to where we were...(sorry for the delay in responding).
Personally I love the silver on your existing wheels, but the hyper black would be cool too. Let me back up my rationale though... My 19" RUF's are techno-silver which is a pretty bright silver, while the wheels on my M5 are the factory silver with black mixed in ( I think they call it techno-chrome or something like that, having a dead brain at the moment). While they are both beautiful colors, the wheels on my M5 look dirty after a day or two due the wheel already being dark. The RUF's look good for about 8-10 drives (never gets driven in the rain, that might help).
I think the bottom line is tasteful contrast always looks good. The hyper black will still be a contrast with sort of a "bad boy" look , but you have to decide if you are going for a classic look or more of a mean look. Only you can decide that.
You still win either way, you're driving a 993. :-)

Robert: The finish I'm going with is similar to this, except I may get them to add a some bronze in the mix to match the bronze highlights in the met black paint.
