Question How Much$$$???

What do you folks think is a fair price for the following:

1997 C2 S Tiptronic

14,000 documented miles
Perfect shape in/out/mechanically
Clean history

Black on black
Bilstein PS 9s all around (just put in)
GHL Mufflers and Tips (just put in)
18" Turbo Twists w/ Fresh Pirelli P Zeros
Factory Premium Sound
Factory Brushed Stainless Door Sills

A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF A WIDEBODY 993

somewhere in the high 40's I would venture to guess. The Tip kills it IMHO. A 6 speed would bring close to 60K with those miles

I agree about the Tip issue. It's great for those who prefer it because of the cost savings. Sub $50K USD is about right.

I think you're being too hard on the Tiptronic. Only 14K miles? This is a collector car, with all the right stuff. Easy $55k.

In the range of $45,000 to maybe $48,000 for a stock model.....it is a '97 with Tiptronic, which I like personally, but it attracts a small % of Porsche buyers, like one in ten...ask any veteran Porsche trader/dealer such as Ray Joseph or Tim Holt

It is bone stock sans the PS9s, GHLs and K&N air filter. All original parts have been retained for the collector who wants it showroom stock (I doubt it, they are nice upgrades)

Like Steve said it a collector with so little miles. If you like it and can afford it, buy it. Probably a great car

High $40s. It sounds like a fantastic car. Go for it!

It is my friends car and he has decided to sell it. He has been bitten by the "turbo bug". He is also looking to go one step less refined and get a 94 3.6 Turbo.

I was just looking to get some input. Personally I think it is worth every bit of 50K. Sounds like I am pretty close, as indicated by the 993ers here.

I have ridden in and driven this car many times...it is a very nice clean car.
Maybe he will end up posting it on here for sale in the classifieds. In the meantime, if anyone is interested or knows of someone looking to sell/trade a 3.6 Turbo PM me.

P.S. The car was at the Spring Fun Run, although it left early. It is in a few posted photos

I do hope you get what you are asking for it - but I think the tip will make it hard to sell quickly for more than low $40s.

There's a similar car with 21K on it in the classifieds for $45K. Please have your friend send me his contact info and some pics to makane@sympatico.ca

Thanks, Mark

As a point of reference, there is a speed yellow C2S on on e bay with similar miles and the bidding is up to $60K with a full day to go, but it is a 6 speed and a '98.
