Default Who can remap ECU for 9M heads in US?

I keep reading how effin' good these products are....but the achilles heel (if I can call it that) for us Stateside nuts, is the re-mapping of the ECU. So my question is, who in the U.S. has the skills/equipment to do this?? Just curious.

Sorry guys, but I cannot remap 993 ECUs at this time. They are different than the ROW ECUs I believe due to OBD II compliance and have an 88pin ECU rather than a 55pin ECU with a soldered EPROM. Todd at Protomotive may have the capability to do remapping.

Todd at Protomotive would be my recommendation.

I would think Jason at HMR (http://www.heritagemotorcar.com) could do that. Call around. I assume you are planning to pay for dyno time and tuning? Doesn't 9M offer a remapped eprom for their head setup?

It's an easy thing to bundle your car into a transport and ship it to AK.

Eventually. I'm thinking a good time to do this would be when the car needs a top end. I'm at 66k and she runs like a jewel so it won't be anytime soon. But pre-planning never hurts.

Dan,
I meant Arkansas, Protomotive's home. Probably not the right abbreviation. :-)

I think I sent you to Alaska. Not intentionally. :-)

Hi Geoffrey--

Love the write ups about your car in Total 911.....question for you...the OBD on MY95's are OBD I, does that make a difference?

Noah...thanks for keeping me in the lower 48 If I ever get this done maybe I'll take it to AK for testing.

Dan,
I've always wanted a C4 to do that trip. If you get there ahead of me, set out some markers. I tend to wander.
