Anyone have both a 993 and 996? Opinions requested.

What do you hope to learn about the RMS that isn't already known? Like I said, it's a joke. It sucks and Porsche should have figured it out and fixed it in 1999.

So are you going to make it west this year? Road America is a great place to spend labor day!

Jim,
I might do Road America. It's a month before Summit and well out of my busy season. The problem is that I'll need someone to help refuel me during the enduro.
I just did Road Atlanta (first time there. One of my favorite tracks with WG and Sebring right up there) and have the Glen, Summit Point and maybe Putnam on my schedule.

Thanks, Jim. Just promise me you won't refuel me like John Haas (fellow D competitor and friend) did by pouring my fuel in an ounce at a time, as well as setting off my alarm! John, I know you're out there! It was actually kind of funny.
I'll let you know as the season progresses, and as my budget shrinks.

You have an alarm? Please tell me your racecar doesn't have that gizmo that forces you to lock and unlock your doors to restart the engine. I really loved my 993 but that was the dumbest "feature" I've ever seen.
Later,
Jim
