Narrow Body Hollow Spokes for Sale, Local Only Please
I am selling a set of hollow-spoke turbo twists in a narrow body offset. I would like to get $1100 for these wheels.
They currently have continental sport contact 2 tires in 265, 225. The offsets for the wheels are 7.5 x 18 ET50 and 10 x 18 ET65. These are 993 specific wheels designed for narrow body use. The part numbers are 993 362 140 01 (rear) and 993 362 134 05 front.
The tires are pretty worn, I would say less than 1/4 life left on the rears and 1/2 life left on the fronts (which is ironic since this is the second set of rears vs. original set on the fronts).
The fronts are in very good shape. Almost no noticeable scratches. The rears have curb rash on one and on the other has a strip of the finish that scraped off (PO had a tire blow out, which stripped off a small piece of finish). Check out the photos.
I do NOT want to ship these wheels. I live in the Pasadena area of So Cal.

The Gemballas are working out well. I think the issue is, if anything, the tires. For those who want to push wide rear wheels, beware the Michelin Pilot Sport Ribs. The "Rib" extends beyond the rim, almost acting like a rim protector. So far though, no rubbing at all. I think part this whole thing is the pictures really accentuate the width of the tire. If you look from the top or from the rear, the tires don't extend out that far beyond the fender. I may need to dial in a bit more aggressive camber in the rear.
I'll tell you one thing, I'm sick of cleaning wheels. I cleaned the gemballas, my hollow spokes, and dean's hollow spokes.
