I had a friend at the track (CMP) this past weekend taking pics. He gave me the DVD yesterday and I found this:

Nice pix! Do you have an idea from what speed to what speed you decelerated and distance... just to make me dream next time I'll jump on my brakes :-)

Looks cool but that rotor is quickly on it way to being toast, like I always say about brake rotors "more cooling, more cooling , more cooling!"

The picture was taken at Turn 1 at Carolina Motorsports Park. I went from 120-125 down to about 45 or so.

It would be interesting to put some heat paint on those rotors. The #s for daylight glowing rotors that I have seen are ~1200F. I don't believe yours are quite that hot though. 1000f would be my guess

Great pic Harvey. Amazingly capably brakes on these little cars. Very tasteful list of mods on your car by the way. I like it.
