Ok, I heard back from Cowtown, and he will share with me his latest files and I will try and take it from there. I want to transition to a panelized schematic to lower costs even more. Everybody hang on and I will update again if I make some progress. I want one of these babies for my 964.

Thanks for sharing your files. Essentially my plan is to just reproduce your board and RayCM schematic but with more "open source" software so more vendor options are available. It's a proven design and layout that works and I don't want to mess with a good thing to show how clever I am.

I will start a new thread for the next group buy when enough progress has been made on my end.

I would like a board.

 

Everyone, progress is being made on my side to reproduce cowtown's and RayCM excellent efforts.

I have reproduced the schematic and now reproduced the board layout as well with some small differences, its not an exact copy, but very close to one. Before I start a new group buy thread I am doing a very small run for myself just to confirm that it works with my 964. The schematic design and Cowtown's layout have gone through several design reviews. I just need to make sure my layout reproduces the good work already done. Next update in about 2 weeks with hopefully good news.
