Awesome job and a wonderful result - congrats.

Thanks for taking the time to document the project as you did. It certainly makes a terrific contribution to the already rich archive of 993 information contained herein.

Have fun with her and report back.
Cheers,
Bob

For those curious, I took the car to Viper Bob's home today to tie up some loose ends, and while I was there we weighed the car...2835 lbs. 3/4 tank of gas. Goal is 2700 pounds and after talking with Bob, I think we have a solution to get it down to 2700.

Lovely work, nicely done.

OT: Can I just say, as far as weight reduction is concerned, the other week I saw a really fat bloke spend £1200 having an RS rear screen installed in his car to save weight! I had to laugh.

Great project!!

Has for weight reduction, I would opt for carbon fibre hood and fenders. Even though lexan is nice, I've herd it was scratching up very easy.

Keep up posted

Yes Rob stopped by today and all I can say is WOW!!!! Now he brought me this car a few weeks back (after he only had it for a week) when I put in the rollbar, seats, and harnesses. Since that time though, what a difference. It is not the same car.. The paint has been detailed to the point where it is a mirror. The CS spoilers and wheels are so SWEET. Overall, a truly fantastic project... Oh and on the car was on a little bit of an incline, so the corner weights are not 100% accurate, but the overall weight is...

Pics of the Offset TAch from NHS below. I tried to get a shot of the tach without the reflection of the red belts in the car but it was a no-go. Also, I was under the impression that when I sent in my tach for the exchange that NHS could set the redline anywhere I desired. This was not the case, so the 7400 redline is the only option available form them on the 993 tach....which gives me an excuse to match the engine performance/redline to the tach next Spring...

That was my reasoning when I had the NHS do the same thing to my tach!! Love it!
