Just heard on German radio over here that BBS is going into bankruptcy. No real deatils were given on the plan. I hope they make it through....if we lose them, it likely means more crap wheels out there, plus, good wheels will likely become more expensive....
Your post was not redundant. I just wanted to direct people to a thread on the racing board that had a bit more info on the BBS bankruptcy/restructuring.
As I observed in the OT version of this thread, there is no shortage of high quality, reasonably priced, performance (not bling) focused wheel manufacturers. None of them make wheels for Porsches, however, which skews our perspective a bit.
Bummer, every wheel that I like seems to run into these problems
Speedline, Kinesis, now BBS
Is speedline having issues?
I know they are still producing wheels as of last year. I just bought and sold a new set of 3.6 T speedlines and they had a production date of 11/06. Quality was not as good as the older wheels though.
