Well, my name is Alain and I started my forum career with saabnet.com in the nineties. At that time I "only" owned Saabs. Today it's a little bit more complicated with a 1990 Saab 900 SPG, a 1992 Saab 900 SPG Conv., a 2004 Quattro RS6+ and, of course, my 1996 Turbo.
Greetings from Luxembourg
Alain

I am a member of the Jaguar forum and it was my user name there. I couldn't come up with a new one when I joined Rennlist so her eI am arjag!

I only became interested in participating in forums after buying my 993. Heck, I rarely touched a computer until getting my 993. Lack of awareness and imagination led to my username. And now, I'm stuck.![Frown](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
Edit: Great thread!

I usually use my lifelong nickname...Joe Mag(1st name, first three letters of last), but it's been taken here. My bro in law has referred to me as "the Magdaddy" for a long time, so thats that.
I use my long time mountain biking nickname on most bike forums-MUD BOY.
Been an interesting 13 pages folks, GREAT thread!
ooh, and because I'm, Italian too...
What do you call an Italian sculptor?
...a chiseling ginny(sp)

Can't believe I didn't come across this before.
I got a disk with a computer book in 1993. The disk was "50 Hours Of Internet!" with AOL (of course). So I plug it in, get dialed up and figure since PCA had just started club racing that I'd get back in the game with a 911 finally. Except Racer911 was taken. So Race911 it became. Suppose it seems obvious to us here, but when I met Karen she thought I was an EMT or some emergency (aka 911) worker running around the streets of the Bay Area doing good.

I tried to find some clever online moniker with numerous double entendres. People didn't get it, didn't understand, I had to explain....... I was Fat_Tony for a long time on one forum, homage to Fat Tony on The Simpsons. People just thought I was fat.
So I settled on the very boring firstnamelastname combo. Less confusion when I meet people in the flesh!

Still searching for my factory diesel powered V10 ferrari, which I thought was going to be reality to combat Audi's R10 Lemans winning TDi, but alas...
The 993 C4S is a fine replacement.
