Interesting this thread pops up when it has, since it was through Rennlist that I've been able to secure a consulting project. We have a great cross section of demographics here and being able to connect, understand needs, share skills, etc. has been a Godsend. Being able to keep my Porsche also helps 
What I think would be of value, if the membership wishes to best utilize the connections we each bring to the table, is a sticky where folks can ask 'does anyone have connections in x industry, y company, etc. I realize we have an employment forum but I don't think anyone goes there regularly. Maybe off topic?

Trin It's done!!...........mostly 
Finally got it back just before Xmas. Still has a few "punch list" items to take care of (things not working or not right), but I've put about 125 miles on it. Gets looks and thumbs up everywhere I go. A quick pic for video proof then back to the original topic at hand here

I own a wedding DJ company. We handle the whole process from MC'ing to Photography. I also DJ in clubs from time to time and am fairly popular in my area. I am currently in the process of opening an Insurance Brokerage with a partner and am seeking all the information in that field that I can get. Any brokerage owners on these forums?

- Euro travel, particularly motorcycle touring and motorcycle shipping by air
- Maintenance: most vehicles and light aircraft
- Fabricate my own items: have lathe, mill, welding equipment, etc.
I took early retirement just over a year ago and I'm loving it. I do what I want, when I want. Never a boring day when you have lots of interests and hobbies. Life is finite. The one thing that CEO won't say during his final moments in the hospital: "Gosh, I wish I could have made it to that meeting".
As an added bonus, I pay a lot less taxes, hardly any, so less of my money is being pi$$ed away by government.
