What?

You didn't have to sing the school fight song as a frosh?

I thought you went to a real football school, though now that I think about it you only said "Tennessee".

You didn't say if it was the University of... or the Tennessee School of Nursing.

Congrats on the green Sub. Beautiful watch.

However, my favorite right now is my Panerai PAM 212....

Your confusion is understandable, as you have been exposed to the Bears for so many years, even using Bears and Football in the same sentence I suppose. THAT would make you think of the Tennessee School of Nursing when it comes to College Football!

Back on to being Off Topic....I have a friend who believes that God made Cabs for watches like those shown in some of the beautifull pictures posted here.

I got the lucky call from my AD last month. Just picked up my SS Daytona after about 2 years on the list. I wanted one with a white face, but they had one with a black face and it was a pull the trigger or get back in line kinda deal. So I bought it. I have a black face SS sub date that I wear everyday.

The watch may be for sale soon if anyone is looking and would rather deal with a fellow Rennlister as opposed to a stranger on eBay.

I would have done the same thing. I wouldn't wear a Rolex for the same reason I don't wear Polo shirts- feels ostentatious to me. Spoken by a Porsche owner. lol

speaking of watches,
any comments or thoughts on the Porsche chronographs that the 'porsche collection' is currently selling?
who makes the watches for them?
Porsche opened a store on madison ave in nyc.

Default Nice watches!

I'm a fan - for better or worse - of wearing my watches daily. Not for show, but for the same reason I believe one should drive their cars - and not sit in the garage. These watches/cars (P-Cars) are supposedly deserving of their price/reputation. So....Prove it!!!

Re: The Porsche watches....my wife bought me a "911 watch" about 8 years ago and it keeps perfect time. It has become my track watch now that she has purchased so many other watches for me over the years. I use it for the stop watch function for all the timing we don't do at DEs, etc.
