I have found that switches in the OFF or CENTER position dont do anything. So there are only LEFT or RIGHT option.

I have to admit that I dont fully understand the K or K' or L. I just built the circuit and tried the different toggle combinations until I got something to work. Read my previous post. If you build your switch like the schematic. The switch positions should be exactly the same to get the interface to work. I need to sit down and study the schematic with a beer to understand how the board is working. At this time, I know it works, I can read the 993 computer and reset codes - thats good enough for now....

Not sure where to start, but first I need to source the discrete components like many of you have already done. These typically cost about the same for 10 ea or 100 ea in my experience.

Also, need to source the OBD connector for the OBD1 system. Colin has sent me a link to a source, but have had no luck. I will have to contact that source and see what, when and where etc.

I would like to get a head count to how many of you would like me to assemble?
How many of you would like these boards installed into a generic plastic box?
I must apologize for the delay, just been super busy up until recently.

I understand the early 95's have a different OBD1 connector, aka ALDL (assembly line data link). I would need to know who has what and how many of what type etc. etc.

Feel free to email me at cwalrod@sbcglobal.net

As always, I love to help!!

Thanks in advance...

Chris - I would like an assembled one, please!

Thanks for all your help on this.

BTW - I'm on holiday next week until the 25th, so won't be able to respond to any emails. Can you make sure I don't get missed of the list?

"...bump...

Do the switches have to be center-off (ON-OFF-ON)?

Thanks.

I changed the interface debug procedure and added a pcb build, schematic and connector details. The debug now checks out the LEDs. the switches are better defined.

Hi Chris,

Hardly any need for an apology since YOU'RE the one doing us a favor!

Maybe start a new thread as this one is humongous? As for headcount, I'd like an assembled version for my 95 OBDI when you're ready to get er going. Thanks!!!

Default Chris - Assembled Unit

Sent a response via e-mail but the service is a bit flaky and undependable right now so wanted to post here too.

Would like an assembled unit in the plastic box and with the round connector for OBD-1. (Located on the right side of passenger footwell).

Thanks a ton for offering to do this, let me know when you need the $$ or any other info.....

Did I understand this correctly? There is a source for the big round connector? I'm totally interested in that!!
