Default Bumperette removal?

Is it possible to just remove the front bumperettes and replace the corner markers with the longer Euro lenses? I like the cleaner Euro front bumper, but replacing the entire bumper cover seems a bit expensive!

You can, but you must fill-in the cutouts where the bumperettes were, then repaint.

I used the John D method. Two years later, still perfect.

Here's my old bumper prior to getting shipped to Texas.

Notice the slot where the bumperette used to be.
