Default A Different Way of Rotating Your Tach..

Just returned from 7 days in Playa del Carmen, and five days in Houston for the GP, only to find a nice package on the doorstep from NHS.

I had sent them a spare tach to replace the gauge face, reorientating the numbers. I didnt want to rotate my tach, rather replace the face. Havent installed it yet, but thought to post a few pics of the result. Looks as though NHS did a really nice job, looks very factory. The acid test is to insall it and fire her up!!

Check it out..

That's very cool, Chris.

Did you get to choose the RPM at the 12 o'clock position?

Who's NHS?

And isn't the redline high for a 993?

Very nice. Can I be be politically incorrect and ask how much that set up back? I have a spare set of gauges laying around and that may be something I'd be interested in trying.

Cool Chris, this is on my list also.

And I like the RS pulley pen holder too!

GJ,

NHS is North Hollywood Speedometer and yes, what's up with the redline Chris? Changed cams & lifters or something or are you just pimpin'?!

Very nice Chris. I did the same thing with an old SC coupe years ago. NHS did an outstanding job. Now you have me thinking about doing the same to my 95 C2.

I didnt mean to start another round of 'the tweak of the week'

Cost was ~$145 and turn around was about three days plus transit time. I didnt request a higher redline, actually a poor assumption on my behalf that the redline would be as standard. No biggy, this just means I have more RPM

How hard is it to remove the tach to send to NHS? If this is something that I can do in my garage... I'm all in for a GB. TIA

Chris,
That looks great. I have heard only positive comments about NHS, so I shipped 15 993 clocks to them a few weeks ago for refurbishment..... it was very difficult to find super clean clocks for my Carrera desk clock project, so I bit the bullet and shipped a case to them. I hope to have these back later this week.

Andreas
