After completing the HIDs install, I tried to brighten up my side lights to get them closer to matching the headlights. I sprayed the inside of the lights silver as others have done here and replaced my stock T4W bulbs with the blue 3400 ones by Phillips. This is what it looks like:
Not much different from where I started, if you ask me.
A few days ago, Alan at aceparts.com suggested replacing the bulbs with LEDs. He generiously sent me a couple (thanks Alan!). What a difference:

I had a set of LED's prior to my turbo ducts & fogs. I got them from www.superbrightleds.com They were a bit too blue for my stock headlights, but I think they would match the HIDS nicely.
The bulb I ordered was BA9s 4-LED 12VDC bayonet base bulb -White

I just installed white 39 mm festoon lights for my rear license plate. I was tired of the crap yellow look of the plate illumination. I forst got the idea from a new Acura TL and thought the plate looked great. The best way to describe the white led light is kinda a cool blue moonlight on the plate.
With that said, Im not sure Im crazy about the LED front lights - starting to look a little ricer for my tastes. I upgraded the fornt bulbs with ones from autohausaz and the bulb is definitely whiter than the stock, but still yellow compared to the HID... If anyone wants the autohaus PN, I will send.
Thanks,
TJ

OK....I need some help here. I want to do this mod, however when I went into Radio Shack and asked for a 4 leds to attach to a standard T4W socket they looked at me like I didn't know what I was talking about. And, once again, they were right. Please walk me through what I need. Many thanks.

You wont find what you are looking for at radioshack. You will need to go to a place like autolumination.com - someone specializing in ricer mods.... I noticed pep boys had ricer lights but not a big selection.

Well, I ended up installing the LEDs last night. My thoughts--well, I didn't like the look. They were too weak and did not illuminate the entire lens like the pictures above might suggest. Also, until I'm ready to install new fog light bulbs, they look funny next to the yellow fogs.
So, here is my solution: I simply have disconnected the front marker lights and will run my HIDs and side markers (i.e. no front markers). When I don't have the HIDs on, I will light my fog lights. I actually like these looks better.
