I'm amazed that without knowing me and while sitting 3000 miles away you can make calls like that......Simply amazing.............
The next time I do it, I'll be sure to get some in car footage of the speedo so you can stop doubting everthing you read.

You really think that, just because he owns the car, the guy had a "right" to drive 120-150 mph on THAT road -- with a rise that may have led to the crash, NOTHING separating oncoming traffic lanes and WITH A BAC OF 0.09???
Where, oh where, did Darwin go?"
I made no mention of alcohol being involved in the incident nor do or have I ever condoned drinking & driving. My comment was essentially that if it was his car and he wanted to go 120mph he had as much right to do so as we do in our Porsches......period!
If I knew you were driving under the influence at 55mph I'd report you myself!

According to www.wreckedexotics.com that crash as lethal to the driver... no surprise from those photos.

"he had as much right to do so as we do in our Porsches"
you are correct. he has as much right to that in his car as we do in ours and in this case "as much right" is no right at all since breaking the law is not a right guaranteed to anyone. honestly, i can't think of why you are trying to justify this drivers actions. he was driving nearly 100 miles over the speed limit (and drunk to boot) and was endangering not only himself, but anyone else who might be driving along. if you want to drive that speed get yourself to a track.

right this, no right that....it doesn't matter...it's all BS...who freakin' cares
My only point is, when you want to go over 100mph, you push down on the throttle without asking anyone else permission to do so. I didn't say it's legal nor even the smart thing to do, I just said it's his right by ownership to push the throttle down whether we like it or not.........nothing more.
Now get over it.... ....LOL

this statement is false. there are very clear LAWS about not being able to push down the throttle as much as you like. owning a sports car does not give us the RIGHT to drive as fast as we like (ask anyone who has gotten a speeding ticket )

Right you are pcar.....that ebay seller is a real comic. Thanks for the post. That's why I joined Rennlist, to read funny sh*t like that, NOT to hear a bunch squabbling over personal responsibility.

Bull,
you & mborkow must be related because you keep trying to make this into something bigger than it needs to be.............as i previously stated "I/we/anyone have the right to choose between exceeding the speed limit or not" as do both of you. Whether it's against the law is really a mute point. If I, or anyone else, chooses to exceed the posted speed limit, that act does not give you two the right to judge us, unless you happen to be a Traffic Court Presiding Judge.
I would venture to guess neither one of are Traffic Court Judges so let it go and have a nice day.
