Default Rear seat delete.

I just purchased a 98 C2S. I want to delete the rear seats since I am installing a DAS roll bar. Does anyone have pics of the how it looks, and where to purchase the carpet for the rear seat delete? Thanks for any info.

I think you just want to remove the seatbacks, and bottoms? If so,

here is the rear carpet kit

That is correct just the seat backs and bottoms. I don't think I need the complete kit, maybe just the carpet pieces that cover the backs and bottoms. I want to keep my rear speakers.

Default another....modified

I removed the center "beam" to make it more useful and added a custom "mat".

The carpet "kit" that Fill posted is only for the back. Ask Gert about the pieces for the bottom.

I am not certain the DAS bar will fit with the rear seat delete?

Check the archives from about 3 years ago. I did a write up on the rear seat back delete. If I recall it saved about 25lbs and I was able to run the DAS bar.

My "rear seat delete" package tray/luggage dump weighs 22 pounds. It definitely looks cool and works great but the plywood top weighs a ton.

Jason, I agree with you completely. which is why my rear seat delete is sitting on the shelf in my garage.

haha funny to read "what does the rear seat delete cost," when it shouldn't cost more than about 30 mintues and a couple hand tools.
