Default RS clutch and flywheel

I am looking for a vendor for RS clutch and LWF flywheel. Contacting several Rennlist sponsors, surprisingly, did not yield a responce. So I'm aslo looking elsewhere.

I am thinking of possibly buying pieces of the kit separately at this point. One vendor offered me an RS Heavy Duty Sachs clutch kit for $470. Is this what I need? Besides this and the LFS itself, what else is needed?

Any other leads and thoughts would be appreciated.

Andial 714-957-3900 has them. I was just inquiring about them myself. I spoke to Pete. Sunset also carries the RS kits I believe.

Have you tried Gert at Carnewal? He's usually very quick to respond (even though time zones are out of sync) and his prices are decent and service excellent.

If you tried to call Viperbob he's out for a few days........Oh and if your buy all of the pieces separately you'd be insane. Guaranteed to buy at least one wrong piece.

Putting my motor/trans back in as we speak......finaly!

Cheers,
Andy

As Dan listed I stock and sell the pictured complete kit. Shown in the picture is the Sachs New Power clutch rated at 800Nm+ There are 2 other Sachs pressure plate options. This kit is OEM Porsche, no aftermarket components.

Thank you, gentlemen!

It's good to hear that VB is out of town, I was getting worried. I'll email several others as well, of course.

Dan, as you've always steered me right (others, please do not take offense), would you go with a full kit or consider piecing it together yourself?

I bought a full kit:
1. It was (I believe) less expensive than the separate parts.
2. It was certainly easier/faster than shopping around.
3. I avoided mis-matched parts issues.
4. I had no issues w/back orders, lost shipments, etc.
5. I had 1 vendor to deal w/if there was an installation problem - w/no buck passing.

Talking Steve Weiner

For all the blankety blank &*$#@ free advice Steve Weiner provides us, and note not only is he a sponsor, but he is a Rennlist Technical Advisor, throw him a bone and let him take a shot and supplying your RS flywheel and clutch hardware. If he is a few bucks more....it is worth it for the product support he provides.

ANDIAL...they are not a sponsor. Great folks but they have not stepped up to support Rennlist that I know of, yet!

I really like my semi-LWF* and clutch...I did get it from ANDIAL over 4 years ago. I needed someone to install it for me...Steve Weiner is in Portland...too long of a drive for me.

*Back then, ANDIAL was adding in some weight to the flywheel proactively to prevent any potential stalling issues that we hard about on the OBD I 993 cars.

Kevin,

Please disregards my email. I just saw your post above (with pix of the RS Clutch and LWF). That is exactly what I received from you today. Thanks for the excellent service and I can't wait to get the turbos.
