The icon of the 911 history a few forum members wanted to see live.
At the end it became an event of about 120 cars and around 200 Porsche fans coming from Germany /Switzerland/ Austria last weekend!

Here a few pics of this event:

Meeting point for the group from the north of Germany - around 50 Porsche meets there to drive together to Stuttgart - the motorway was in our hands!

Beautifull!!! Some of the pictures are really great, like the different shades of yellow! Some very unique Porsche colors as well there! Love that Orange 964 and that maritime blue 964 RS!
It must have been incredible , a sea of 911's on the autobahn at speed!
Thanks for sharing!

Don't read German too well...Please tell us a little more about the historic significance of that early 911.
From the literature posted on the German site, it looks pretty special...

Hello Matt,

I don`t write English too well... ...but I`ll do my best to translate.

We know only a small part about this nice early 911:

- the car has the production number 61
- the car never took any refreshments
- it still has the one-circuit brake system
- Solex carburettor
- Original key
- Original lifting jack
- factory rubber tube for remove the sparking plug

------------------------------------------------------------

This car is hand signed from his designer " Butzi Porsche" himseld in the engine compartment.

BUTZI PORSCHE, 911, 0 SERIE, 1965

1965, press photo car of Huschke von Hanstein in Hockenheim and on the Solitude race-course.

1987, publishing of this car in the magazine "Motor Classico"

1988 - 1992 loaned to the Porsche Museum Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen.

1988, best in his class on the Concours d'Elegance in Nürnberg.

1993 photo shooting in the Rene Staud Studios with Ferry Porsche and Butzi Porsche for the press map "30 Jahre Porsche 911" (Jahre = years)

Best of all classes "30 Jahre 911" in the Porsche Parade Stuttgart.

1998 Exposition of this car in London "Porsche - Design Dynasty 1900 - 1998

2000 Participation in the Porsche Parade Baden Baden. The car got in this Concours d'Elegance the third place.

2001 Participation in the Concours d'Elegance in Schloss Schwetzingen.

Harry owns this car since end of last year...

If you like to get more informations please contact Harry - btw.: today is his birthday I think he would be very glad about emails fom USA... :-)))))

kind regards
Elke and Peter
