Default Price check on solid 18" twists

Saw a listing for a set locally (Boston area) for $700, has some curb rash on the rear wheels. Is this about right? I'm not married to twists, open to any 18", if anyone has any that you are looking to unload...

Wheels seem to vary wildly. I bought a set of 18" hollow spokes w/ SO3s with about 1K miles on the set for $2K - great shape. Easy to find folks asking $800-1000 for 17" Cups in good shape. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

Depending on just how much curb rash there it, that could be a good deal. If minor or if you can DIY the repairs then pretty cheap. If you need to have a pro fix it, that will run $200-300, so all it it would be a decent price but not an outstanding deal. But if you don't like them then why bother?

If you are interested in 18" wheels that require some repair I have a set of BBS RSII that need the center covers and also two of the lips need to be repaired. I posted details in the "Wheels" forums a few mos back.
