BTW, I leave for Washington, D.C. for business on Mother's Day. Made the flight reservations before informing the family. ...So if moved to this date I won't be there either, assuming the whole permission/forgivness strategy works and I'm still alive and able to fly.

I am all for the 23rd...I was part of the first and original RUMBLE and helped organize it including bringing the caterer.....is the guilt trip working
Anyways....there is no way I can do the 30th and I would just hate it to miss the 2nd annual RUMBLE also as the OFFICIAL "Central Coast Rep" I can help to arrange any things needed from the local scene so again......23rd 23rd 23rd 23rd
PS I have an extra room availble at my house if anyone wants it ( I have two dogs so a dog lover is a must)

What kind of dog?

My daughter Melissa loves dogs, so I may take up your offer if we moved to 4-23-05.

Thanks.

I'll try to make it, although Mothers day weekend is an early invitation to the dog house, if you know what I mean!!

Any other weekend please!

The 23rd may be a no-go for me, but it seems like that's the better day for many others. Oh well, keep us updated.

CP: How old is your daughter Melissa? Are you bringing her? (I will probably bring my 3 y/o daughter to keep me company; wife really can't make the trip.)

23rd. is out for me to due to the Willow short track event with JG, Sr. and the rest of the POC. Mother's day weekend is fine, as was our original date. I say we stick to one date and let everyone accommodate if possible. There will be enough places to stay for 40-60 of us. Additionally many may just come up for the day, which is what I had planned.

What Tony (Air Kuul) is saying is that 4/23 is Passover and his wife (me) would kill him if he missing this holiday and I would actually prefer Mothers Day, that way I get away from the kids and the mother in law!

Seems like May 7th poses the least conflict for most people. No wildflower gawkers to clog the road, no track day, and those who have to be home for Mothers' Day (8th) can make it. I'll be going down and back in one day, back via coast hwy 1.

As Jauder says, I am retired anyway, but the downside to that is I may have to borrow some gas and lunch money off my wife. Worse, my car is at Devek for a 120K service, so I may get a "While we are in there/suggested mod" call from Bob.

Jim,

Melissa is 20 years old and a car nut, like dad. She attends most of the car events with me, as my wife does not care for cars, at all.
