Robert and Suzanne,
How many times do I have to say this? ALL PORSCHES are welcome. Please spread the word. You're on the list, and welcome aboard.

Steve - put me down for 2. My wife will be 8 months pregnant so I highly doubt she will come (hopefully she will let me go), but I might bring Mackennzie (maybe we'll bring her boxster if you guys will slow down for us!). Even though there's a chance I won't make it, I'll commit and pay no matter what. Thanks, Jim.

FWIW, I'll toss a vote in for the one with the nicer ambience and view

See the attched "rumble" entry list. Have I missed anyone so far? We're up to 59! OK... we'll switch venues to the "cave room". JR... can you make a reservation for about 100 people? How are we going to handle the deposit? Once that is done, I'll cancel the Arciero winery, though I may want tol drop by for a peek at the Indy cars. I can't do too much at work during the week, so I'm going to need some organizational help.
Thanks everyone... this is going to be something to remember.

Sounds fantastic! I have been to the "cave" and that is a great place and great location to meet up!
This may have been covered but where are the NorCal drivers meeting up? Are we going to caravan? Sorry if ive missed it somewhere....

I volunteer Jim Morton (if he is willing) for NorCal Routemaster.
I think he did a great job last time. I have to follow someone or I'll get lost. That also means I'm not following mooty (John) as he gets lost more than I do.
John, you should see if Pin wants to come too.

As the leader of the pack, take a look at Hwy 58 off the I-5 to Creston. There's several routes from that point to get up to Hwy 46 where the wineries are. All those side roads are fun and twisty. I came down that was recently from VB's and it was a blast. The conservative alternate being I-5 to Hwy 41, West to Hwy 46 (think James Dean), and then West to the vineyard.

Jauder:
Unless someone else wants to task, I will happily be "Routemaster".
Once we know the required arrival time, I will plan the route. I have many ideas, some longer than others. All will have good roads and sights !
Let's see if we can get more folks from the North !
Also, who booked the other two rooms at JR's inn??? UGH....

I'm in and maybe I can help out with a tasting.......
As a small grape grower in the Paso Robles area, I may be able to set something up at Tobin James Cellars. This is the most fun Tasting Room in the county, set up like an Ole West bar. My idea is that I tell the winery that I am bringing in 40 Porsche geeks, and they set up a private room, and maybe some tasting grub. Tobin James Cellars makes consistently good wine, and it is moderately priced too.
