Evan- Sounds like a plan. I love my '02s but I'm putting RS splitters and tail on soon and I have a feeling it won't look "right" with 5 spokes. If I don't like the look I'll go with the supercups and sell my 5 spokes.

Ok ... here is the scoop.

The list price for a set of the new design Kinesis Super Cups is $4,300. The best price I have found is $3288 (about 25% off of the list price) which is wholesale.

In order to get this pricing however they will require a 50% deposit upon order.

This pricing has been approved by Kinesis and will apply to pre-orders only. Once the wheels are publically available this price is null and void.

To place an order contact David at (843) 760-4804.

Harvey...thanks for the update. Any pics available at all? Price sounds reasonable to me.
For those with widebodies(phatbuts)..we should all determine what the best offset would be to get the most aggressive look.

Default Kinesis wheels are the "new" centers to be...

forged or cast? Forged would be great, but the cost would go up considerably..just curious.

Man, this is tempting. I would love a set of these especially if they did a reverse lip. I love that deep polished lip look!.

This should put alot of other nice wheels on the market. Will anyone sell their existing wheels when they buy these?, if so lets hear what you got.

I have a set of 18" TT twists that would be up for grabs.

The wheels are cast not forged.

BTW, I would love to support you guys on this group buy given that I know the folks at Kinesis well and talked at length with them today. We'll see what Harvey says from our correspondences.

With the larger centers, it sounds like they will look just like the Speedlines. I have attached a picture of my car, but it is on a narrowbody.

Im interested as well.
Question: How do these wheels compare with stock TT wheels from a weight and strength/performance perspective?

Angry "ping a couple of my vendors"

Harvey writes, "I will ping a couple of my vendors and see who will give us the best price." You can't fool me with that insider IT talk!

I do hope I am not alone when I hope that these "pinged" vendors are Rennlist sponsors! We can't ask our sponsors to help underwrite Rennlist and not give them 1st right of refusal at the Group Buy deal.

I for one do my absolute best to buy from Rennlist sponsors. I just spent about $1,200 at AJ USA and a mere $300 with Group 9. I have also invested a couple of grand with Gert, etc. These sponsors make it happen for us Porsche "gear heads"...let's throw them a bone when possible. They are not sponsoring us for charity! If we are not careful, they may go away...not a good thing.

I think you may be TSOL as I think they stopped importing these in the US. If you are interested in putting a group buy together you should start a new thread.

That's a tempting price...how much additional for shipping or would they be available for pickup? When is expected delivery date?

I have yet to see any pics of these wheels, but since I really want 9" or 9.5" wide wheels in the front this would be a great excuse to make a change. (Anyone interested in a used set of Gemballas? )

Any way they will have a picture of the redesigned wheel you could see before you buy?
