Wow

It looks like you BAR guys are staying right with the SoCal guys on the fun factor with these drives. It looks like we might have to start planning Rumble 05 soon.

I really didn't take many pics this trip. We were always running behind, first due to the accident then due to slow traffic. We just blew through the stop at the head of the pass. That was a shame, from the pics above it looks like the view was amazing.

Anyway, Steve, I did get 4 pics with your car in it. We were so busy making sure you were OK that I'm still not sure exactly how it happened. I think Eric or Jon actually saw it happen. Serious bummer, dude.

This was really a fun ride, very controlled and sane. Maybe a bit too sane for me at some points, but I did what I could about that. After we entered the base we pulled off, and regrouped; I had the impression Jim was waving us to the shoulder, but I was the only one to move over. That's the reason my car was offset and probably won't appear in most of the "lineup" photos. I know it looks like I was kicked out in the photos below, but that's definitely not the case! Everyone was very friendly and Robin and I really enjoyed the outing.

BTW Steve, I just remembered... there may be a pic or two of your car from the pizza run here

And here's the last of the pics. Big, Big thanks to Jim for not setting this up, and to all who didn't participate in this non-organized non-group event. I enjoyed meeting all of you, even if I can't remember all of the names right now.

Man, the photos of Steve's car bum me out !!! I am so thankful he is OK and folks stopped to help out. Thanks all...

This group was sure a great bunch of folks with great attitude for a fun day out driving.

FWIW, this was the first time my friend Kurt drove his own car on one of these drives. He's been a passenger before never a driver. Good show, Kurt.

See everyone next time.

Jauder, Dimitri,

Thanks for the pics guys. Looks like you're my personal photographers. The privilege to be in front on your guys during the drive. I love your pic of my RUF cresting the knoll. Thatis some shot. I down-loaded that, may be as my wallpaper.

Thanks all, especilaly Jim for all the work putting th eevent together.

CP and Melissa.
