Steve Alarcon is selling his '94 993 cupcar. Check the Rennlist Classifieds. I think he's asking $59k. I've seen this car run many times and it's very clean & competitive. His email is: RedlineRay@aol.com

Thanks Rich, I emailed him awhile ago about his car. It would be a GT2 car in PCA and might be a little underpowered to duke it out with the 993 RSRs. Pretty car though.
I just saw Steves cup car an hour ago at Aase Motors, its a very nice car!! I think they are putting in a new stock motor. The motor that was in it has been sold.
By the way if you are in the LA, OC or even San Diego area and need suspension work. Call Steve, He installed my Bilstein HDs and the M030 sway bars, and the guy is a suspension Guru!! I have never seen someone so into what they do!!

Reason: left out info
I went through this about 5months ago. I wanted to find something that was competitive and fun at the same time. I had always liked the looks of the 993 Supercup. It took me a while to find the right one, but here is how I did it.
There are alot of Porsche Shops out there that come to the track with cars and customers. Start calling/emailing their shops and asking them if they know of anyone. I was able to find a ZERO hour car at a good price, but took a little work.
1) Autometrics in Charleston SC, call Gordon, he is reallt nice guy and works on many GT3 Cups as well as a couple of 993 Supercups. He has always been helpful with my needs.
2) Foreign Affairs, Deerfiled Beach, FL,
3) Speedsport Tuning, Norwalk CT
4) Gunnar Racing, Kevin Jeannette 561.844.8482
These are a few out of the 100s that are out there. These guys know where the cars are. The car I bought wasn't even for sale, but the shop owner knew the Cup owner had talked about getting out of racing. It will take some work, but you'll find the right car.
I know Performance Imports in Doraville, GA 770.457.5550 has at least one 993 cup and other cup cars in the shop all the time. Not for service, I think the 993 lives there. They are very into racing and might be able to hook you up with someone.
Thanks a million Rennlist. I went to bed last night thinking I wouldn't be getting a 993 Cup, and today I feel like I might buy one this morning. I can tell this is gonna be fun.
So what sort of finders fees are you guys going to charge me?
