Alan, et al, great photo work, love sharing this thread with my friends.
Alan, Page 2, 6th post, pic of our cars, I'm interested to see what the avitar would look like. I like my current one but alas, my car has changed, so must my avitar.

Maybe, something like: Thanks Lee for letting me stand on your head so I can get a better shot.
Great photos Alan. Thanks.

Thanks Alan, wish I could see it but those damn huge pics on the last page are making my dial up connection constipated. Guess I'll wait till tomorrow and look at it from work

Posting a little late, here. Great run, Fred, as always. Especially the new route. I also enjoyed your live demonstration of the proper HWFMR cornering technique. It's unfortunate no one had a video camera to save it for posterity.

I'm still bummed that I didn't make it. But 6 am is tough for a lazy creative-type like myself.
As it happened, I was out on Stunt Road late this afternoon, and pulled over for a couple of snapshot as the sun came down. The pictures don't rise to the level of the ones taken Sunday morning, but they at least interject an early 911 into the Malibu canyon driving mix.

Back in 1973 when I first got out of college,I worked for Bev Hills Porsche/Audi for the summer. The owner Bill??? had a fully set up RS that we had to move across the street and back every day to a secure building. We were cool with in in the AM, but moving that car at 9PM was altogether different. Uncorked, low, and just plain nasty looking, roaring up San Vincente or past the restaurants on La Cienega at 5000+ RPM. Wat too much fun for a college boy....
