Fred,
A little late in the thread... but while I was just cleaning the bugs/dirt/dead animals, etc. off my front grill and bumper, and admiring my new paint chips, I was thinking that I wish I had been the first car (no rocks in my face) when it dawned on me that I hadn't thanked you for leading the pack. I thought about how much scarier(?) it must have been not knowing for sure what was around that next turn that you were sliding into with all the possibilities. All I had to do was pace the car in front of me which was either Alan, driving hard before she heaved, or John with his PSS9's. I had it easy. The risk was in the lead car being pushed hard by the first 5 or so of us, and still having the *****/skills to key your mic to let us know of oncoming bogeys. etc. When I think about all that, I'm amazed you only spun once (I know, marbles..) and again I'm grateful for your road leadership. You have my sincere gratitude and vote for "the biggest set". Also, had that CHP radioed ahead, it would have been your *** in their radar....I've lived in Topanga and Malibu and I still didn't know some of those roads...

Hey Alan... if you fnd any additional time in the next few days, I would surely like an mnmblu avatar of the polar ghost.
