Fresh pictures from the MALIBU fun run. Oct 10

Hi Toga,
Nice of you to stop by and say hi. It is always a pleasure to her from you. You know, that Boxster is the nicest one I have ever seen. Jackey has that baby set up just right. He has every gadget you can think of on that car. Normally, I would consider that much work as overdone but not in this case. The car is really special and the Factory should make a Super S just like his, they would sell a loads of them. The car is so photogenic, I had a ball just photographing it.
And... poor Jan, she is so very patient. She is a real trooper goin with me on these runs. She has her own imaginary brake, the right side foot rest, and she's doin a good job of wearing out the carpet there, She got sick after a while through the real tight twisties and that was it for the day. She was not feeling very well in that picture. The hard driving for me was done at that point and it was slowly homeward bound from there. Here is a picture of her starting the morning feeling very good.
John:
Thanks my friend, I love that blue whale. It is the perfect building as a backdrop for my car, you know the color and all. I plan on going back and spending some more time there getting many more shots and angles. We were just coming back from dinner and stopped to take a couple quick shots. Here is an interesting picture of those great lights that illuminate the whale.

Toga,
The only difference between our partners is that your's looks like she was picking up the bucket and mine was hurling into one.
Toga, nice ride!! Your car looks very pretty with it so nicely lowered. The red calipers are raging... love em.
Give my best to your trooper for me.

Alan and Toga.....thanks for the comment. Glad to know you guys like the way of my ride's set up. Before the change, I was skeptical about the REAL finishing look....just like Alan said it might overdressed...or turn out to be a pimp ride...
Oh well positive feedback from folks like Rennlist, specially the air cool nuts, are priceless.
When timing is right, 3.4 upgrade might be next. However, 993 will be my next car.
Alan....my Cannon camera cannot switch lens. Tell me which model did you use?

G1 for this event with wide angle attachment to the standard lens.
have I mentioned how much I love, hate my cordless keyboard? It adds and subtracts letters for me on it's own. Makes me look so smart.

ponchobroke's agressive stance 'sweet n' low'... really illustrates how much the 959 influenced the 993 (immho).

That's sound good. I will be there, as long as not the last Sunday of the month.
Folks, let's do it.

Thanks Fred,
Nice avatar ya got there. Looks like you're stuck with those wheels now.
I took another one of Rich's photos from his above post to demonstrate how there is always a picture within in a picture. That's kind of a good metaphor for life. Remember, it's the parts that make the whole. Look for the obscured, the unnoticed gem, within the forest of jewels, yada, yada, yada.
Who knew this picture was there? Did anyone else see it?
