Rejex Swirl marks??

Rejex has no abrasives, and if your car is dust-free, should not be able to leave (or remove) swirl marks or other fine scratches. My guess is that either your car was dusty (unlikely, knowing you), or that the swirly marks were already there, but less visible because of the added shine of the Rejex. I love this stuff on my Arena Red, 65,000-mile car.

I did not get swirl marks on mine but the paint is only 2 years old.

FWIW, I am not much of a Rejex fan. Application is quite easy but the car must be cool and shady. I had your issues with my Seat Ibiza (dark blue metallic)

FWIW & my experience with guards red, I've seen a vast reduction in swirl marks and very fine scratches when I switched to microfiber. I now use microfiber applicators, microfiber towels for buffing by hand and microfiber drying towels. Yes they can be a little expensive but with proper care they last a long time. Just my 2c.

Hi Monique, Old Guy and co,
I have a midnight blue car and have been having the issues with "streaks" amd marks from handprints and the car cover leaving a "sweat mark" on the paint after application. I took my car to my detailer and he used the product - no imporovement. I will go back to Mothers for this car.
I have used Rejex on my silver car however and no issues there. It certainly seems to repell dust and dirt better than many other products...

For me, even if those issues do arise (which they have not), the advantage of Rejex far outweighs the disadvantage. Any wax I have used is CRAP in the durability department compared to Rejex. I use my car as a DD, and Rejex's ability to repel water and lessen the amount of water spots is amazing. Bugs don't stick to the front like glue. Don't get me wrong; water spots still appear, but they are MUCH less apparent than they were with Zaino or Meguiars. Most people think I wash my car every day because it stays looking so nice even after rain. After all of this hurricane rain I haven't washed my car once... it really doesn't look that bad. Too bad the parking lot grass cutters slung dirt all over my car today. Out to wash!
