Only the valve cover seals, the engine has not been cracked open at all, no need. No transmission work either, lightweight fly wheel and clutch require one to drop the transmission in a C4, but not open up the transmission. You know pretty much what I know at this point in time.

I did want to ask you a couple questions - if that's o.k. Particularly, did you do any major maintenance, such as top-end/valve guides while you owned the car? From what I have read of your old posts here, I could already see that you maintained it very well.

I thought you had dropped off of this site, and am glad to hear from you. The modifications you made to the care are all right in line with what I want - I'm just leary of the miles, and the potential of a problem soon after purchase.

Are you willing to discuss the car at any level??
