If Pin doesn't want the job of Team Photographer, I'd be happy to pick up the sword.
If Pin DOES want the role, can I be Team "Entertainment" Director (nudge, nudge, wink, wink)?
Hell, I'd do both.

Heres my idea. A kind of stylistic "993" turtle.
<img src="http://members.rennlist.com/poorb0yw/turtleRlogo.gif" alt=" - " />
This is the dirty copy in gif form. I have the clean smooth line version on my computer. I can also add coloring or change the text by request if you guys like it.
Let me know what you think.

I think the 'Fred Flintstone' style, with the turtle holding up a car around him w. legs out the bottom, would be ideal.
I'm no artist, though, so I can't offer a prototype!

I am a little late to this thread (been busy...tax season and all), but I happened to notice that there is not a team accountant/CPA yet.
Although these kinds of ventures make absolutely no financial sense, if you start generating income (via shirt sales) you could call this a business of sorts and offset some of that "income" with a whole lotta expense. Take the lose and run with it...Also, why not depreciate that asset (the racecar that is) and, and, and, the list gets longer.
Mods...I mean...repairs are all part of operating expenses. Fun with numbers <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" />
By the way, although I am a beancounter I do enjoy a few coldone's periodically despite what the steriotypes imply so I would promise not to bore all <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" />

Hmmm, I already see a calendar in the works. Who wants to help with "casting"?
Just don't call me "Miss Julie, Cruise Director", 'kay?

He does like the cold ones. In fact, he was nice enough to offer to buy me a pitcher of margaritas last Sunday. Later, I go to sign my tab, and the pitcher is on my bill...
DON"T TRUST ACCOUNTANTS!!!!!!!
That being said, as Anchor, I think I pull enough weight (hmmm) here to admit him. Judging from his performance at Laguna a few weeks ago, he should be on the fasttrack for membership
Flame suit on David! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" />

Awe man, see what you get for doing work for 2 *whole* days ?? I've completely missed this thread <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />
I gratiously volunteer to take position of team role model, seeing as I can never seem to find my way all the way to the track --- I always *want* to go, but something just seem to leave me in the dust. Grin.
Either that, or lead team computer geek...<I could assimilate all of you -- if it weren't for all this damned time spent reading Rennlist>...I'll bet it's possible to hack the pca racing website -- lemme check, standby...
...yep, possible, now who wants to be *last* in the standings ? Anyone, anyone....

I just finished a photo of a potential team member, but I'm unable to log in to upload the pic. I'll try again tomorrow.
Anywho's, does my inability to upload to a bulletin board at least qualify me as Webmaster for this illustrious group?

You're in, for meritorious conduct in the past.
And if you can hack into anything, all the better.
How about Track Hack as your role?
And David, a hard drinking accountant makes all kinds of sense. Welcome.
We have two wonderful designs for the Track Tortoise. What I like about Princeton's is the shape, it could be a 993, it could even be a water-pumper (see the signature below). What I like about Danny's is that grin -- is it eager, or is it lewd? Dare I say almost Mona Lisa-esque?
Here's my problem. We have a big project at the office that is keeping me from exploring this logo to the degree I intended. (In fact, I'll miss a track day Monday because of it!) If the team doesn't mind I'm going to table the logo decision til next week. I also wanted one of our art directors to look at the type.
Respectfully yours,
Your teammate
