First Mate Danny,

You're doing admirable work. Perhaps you should add Team Registrar to your long list of responsibilities.

Since I've never been in the lead in anything having to do with a car, you should take remove "lead" from driver in my title.

Technically, Phil was a member a few days before Eric, so he should be #3. Besides it may be the only time in his career that Phil finishes third or better.

We haven't heard from that ******** Calvo, so maybe we should keep him at provisional status.

Martha Burk hasn't responded, although she may be in Georgia this week. I'm wondering if she should be kicked off the team, but we'll leave that to the membership.

Finally, goodnight all, and remember, fast is a four letter word.

Thanks for straightening me out.

I thought that stood for "off track", where many team members often find themselves.

 

Great! I'm heading to the store for the very special "Propel" water and interviewing umbrella girls this weekend. I'll be SURE to let you all know how it goes!

 

I'm also going to pick up a bungee cord to hook to the back of Greg's car. That should make Mid-Ohio a bit more exciting.

 

Ok Boss, changes noted...You are still the Lead driver though, I maybe the slowest but I still run in the fast group because of my car:P

When we finalize the logo and membership I will keep tabs and handle the distribution of the stickers etc.

Registration is still open and whoever wants to join or add any responsibilities just say so!

Hey directors,

I just realized I have DE with Mustang club at Moroso on this Saturday and I have couple questions:
Can I use 5th gear or is it not allowed for team members?
Can I pass?

Of course you can use 5th gear. Many of use refuse to bother with all that confusing heal-and-toe stuff and just leave it in top gear for the full lap.

Please feel free to pass. We are, after all, racers. We just believe achievement can be found further down the lap chart. Besides, for those of us with vertigo, a podium can be a frightening place.

Good luck at the DE, and please tell us how you withheld our honor afterwards.

While very funny, I don't think that is politically correct on the first day of the Masters.

I try not tu use other gears than 5th but I know it will be hard when I see some ol' Mustang in front of me. But I'll be strong!
