Great work Alan! I almost wish I made the drive just so you could snap a shot of my car I love the color of the green 993, but in terms of actual photo, the white Carerra gets my vote. Thanks for sharing!

Adrienne, Janis Joplin fan. Good for you. You're not that old, are you? I was figuring early 30's, far off? Astute comment anyway. Most ladies I know avoid the age issue like the plague.
Thanks Freier
Here is another pop art piece with respect to Janis who also had the wide hips and a passion for Porsches.

mnmblu,
I just hope you do not start going down the path of all the great artists, namely, becoming so abstract that nobody really knows what it is anymore...

Yeah, glad I'm not the only one. Alan, you lost me on that last one. Best not to define them too much, makes those of us who don't get it feel stupid.

Phil, I'm choaking here, milk all over the desk and coming out my nose.
Jan had to run in and give me the Hymlich maneuver. (Is that spelled properly?)
You have some sense of humor!!!
Fred, don't play dumb, you little, I mean BIG, fox.
I just thought the Janis Joplin thing was kind of inspiring. I kind of like it from a color arty piece standpoint. And Phil, you can still tell it's a Porsche, eh? So many styles to explore. Next stop, straight jacket.
I am working on something I think you guys are gonna like. 997. Soon....

Alan, you are like my bank, willing to give me way too much credit. Someone please tell me what that colorful circlly thing has to do with Joplin

Fred, I am going to lay back and hope to god that someone else gets it and can define your question for me. I know our former in-house resident art critic blew himself out to sea but maybe someone else can do some improvisational, stuffy; art gallery; double talk, that would leave you even more confused as a result
p.s. love the banker comment

A little 356 information...... Janis' 356 and Helga (0ur '65) have one thing in common, a rare dash. So far we have only found 4 other 356's (including Janis') that have the interior/exterior temp gauge mounted in the center of the dash Installed AT THE FACTORY. It's way toooo cool to have something in our Porsche like Janis had in hers!!
You guys must be getting feeble or something if you can't tell that's a wheel in Alan's last picture. What does it have to do with Janis? Probably nothing, except that she liked Porsche's and was into psychedelic art and probably enjoyed chewing on a few 'shrooms that made the art come to life
J
PS: as usual Alan... I like it.....
