Talking One of a kind 993

Just found this on the web. Is this beautifull or what?

The limited edition TURBO S was the most powerful (424 HP), fastest (0-60mph in 3.8 seconds, Top speed-196 mph) and best handling air-cooled production 911 in Porsche's history. Only 180 cars were built for the entire US market. This model is the only one painted this specially ordered color, Viola Metallic. It has every option available including carbon fiber dash, steering wheel, gear and brake shifter and even Viola Metallic carbon fiber sport seats.

This car has won Best in Show at numerous Porsche Concours events, among them, Porsche Oktoberfest, Carolinas Porsche Fest and the Museum of Art Concours.

This Turbo S was ordered by, and is currently owned by the Ingram Collection of Durham, North Carolina.

Delanobe,

Thanks for sharing. I've never seen this particular car before. Others may be interested, as well.

Who pissed in your cheerios this fine Monday Morning Calvo...did someone forget to give you a Father's Day Card yesterday pal ??? If so, get over it and lose the attitude on the board.

Delanobe....it is a sweet ride....The Ingram Collection houses very nice vehicles....all of them pristine, albeit, somewhat overpriced in my opinion.

Thanks for the pic and info. Its always great seeing pics of a "special" 993, especially one as special as a Turbo S (no matter how many times it has been discussed before), even more so when it is still owned by the original owner!!!!

Ray Calvo, I agree with Kdurg and GTR 993, why even post. The world has plenty of negativity without adding to it. I think delanobe posted a beautiful photo of a somewhat rare car.

Wish I had one. Even in that color. Looks similar to Black Rose Metallic, the purplish color my Vette was.
If I like colors that "the wife would like", does that make me ......er.. effeminate?
Anyway, thanks for the photo, and ignore Mr. Poopypants.
