Question Pricing Guides

Anyone know of a link to pricing guides (a-la Kelly Blue Book or Edmunds format) from prior years? I'm helping someone look at a '97 C4S and wanted to know what the price of the car with options was back then.

Thanks

The base price was $73,100. What are the options on the car?

Thanks Vike. I'm somewhat familiar with the base price and the type of options, but wanted to know what the price of the options were back in '97. The options are:
c02, 329, 425, 445, 454, 490, 650, and 692.

Using "Charlie's Porsche Page", http://www.kindel.com/Porsche/default.asp, I'm able to decode the options, but there was one or two instances when I accidentally stumbled onto a link that gave me the prior year pricing information ...and if I recall correctly, it was in a KBB format. Do you, or anyone else, recall seeing such a site?

Thanks,

Try these links:

http://www.cars.com
Click on "Prices and Research"

http://www.autotrader.com/
Click on "Reviews and Information"

http://www.autoweb.com/
Click on "Research." Look for the link to Kelly Blue Book.

Hope this helps!

For some reason, these option codes are not published by Porsche. They are usually codes describing an Exclusive option otherwise noted as an "X" or "Y" option on the order guides. Unfortunately, if there is anyone that can decipher these codes, it is PCNA and they seem reluctant to do so lately. I'd call Customer Commitment and try them first. Otherwise, you might want to spend $30 for a "Kardex" (certificate of authenticity).

I tried all the sources I knew about to no avail since there was a post here from someone I knew who wanted to know about that same option code. Please email me if you find out. Thanks in advance.
