RIP Rudy

I was surprised to hear the news last night. I thought he was gonna make it.
From his social media (IG) he had been in the hospital ICU since late July, but his family shared photos a couple days ago expressing their pleasure that they were finally able to visit with him. He was sitting up, conscious, on heavy oxygen, but not on a vent or anything. It seemed like he was on the mend. I guess things took an unfortunate turn over the last couple days.
I met him a couple times here in the DFW area in the early-mid 2010s including at the RAC Performance 993 Meet. I think that was the trip where Rudy and Darin Fister really hit it off. We went out to lunch at a BBQ spot after the meet.
He was an energetic guy and a good story teller. People gathered around to hear about his adventures. And always behind the wheel of one of his 993s.

As a fellow color lover I say farewell to the best ambassador for unique colored cars. I am sure he brought some of those colors to heaven, RIP Rudy

Clearly this man touched so many in a very unique way. I never had the pleasure of knowing him, but watching the videos provided a glimpse into the passion he had for his family, friends and his cars. People like Rudy are unfortunately rare in todays world, but they leave a legacy. My thoughts and prayers for his family and friends.

I was deeply saddened by the news last night as well. A true enthusiast and great human being that I had not met personally but only chatted via IG and PM's on RL.
My most sincere condolences to the Manseenus Family. He will be sorely missed. Rest easy brother and hugs to Raydn.

Very saddened. I lost a close friend 2 weeks ago and one yesterday as well. I'm still in shock from that. Guys if you don't want to be vaccinated I understand but please please take care of yourself and distance yourself from friends if possible. My heart goes out to Rudys family and close friends.

I am so sad to hear this news last night and I am proud to say he was my friend. We helped each other with many things. When he had a question he would always call me and say “hey senor I have a small problemo!”…. I will miss Rudy he was a true gentleman and family man. He will now be with his beloved grandson Radyn in heaven, I like to think that was God’s plan. RIP Rudy my friend! Ray Joseph RPM Sports Cars
